How to be Creative

Many schools an colleges have purchased Adobe's Web Suite of programs...two gems that students really can get into...Illustrator and Flash. These two sessions are designed for the total beginner as a taster into both programs.
Session 1: Illustrator
One of the most powerful features of this program is the ability to use type as a graphic element. Like other objects, type can be painted, scaled, rotated, and so on. You can also wrap type around objects, make it follow alsong the shape of a path, and modify the shapes of individual letters in a block of type.
Goal of the session: By state and federal law, no one should ever use word art ever again (or should be allowed to)
Session 2: Flash
A simplier set of drawing tools, but the added bonus of animation.
