  • Using Blue tooth to get the best use of mobile phones in the classroom.

(I'd be interested in this also: Russel Montgomery)

  • Using iTunes to download podcasts is also very useful and not that easy so time spent finding teaching materials, downloading and converting using iTunes (if necessary) would be good.
  • Using Web 2.0 tools to remove (metaphorically) the classroom walls and open up the learning space to include familes and the kids "other life".
  • Still looking for good examples of the use of Web 2.0 to extend the the learning potentioal of middle school maths students (11-13 year olds). I have nothing solids to offer. I just wnat to keep talking about it.
  • How can we use mobile tech (mp3 players/phones) in a traditional middle school maths classroom. Again I have ideas but nothing solid. Interested in the conversation.
  • Anyone putting video cameras in the hands of students to facilitate learning in middle school maths/science classes. I'd love to see some examples.

  • Assessment - examples of linking the use of these tools to the Outcomes for reporting
  • I would like some evidence/ support of how / why these tools are 'safe' and will not create a problem for the school network. eg - There are problems with using the school email addresses for a public blog or wiki, I am lead to believe this is how a lot of spammers obtain email addresses – they have automated ‘bots’ that trawl these sites looking for email addresses. I would like some reputable sites and information about these sites so I can take this back to my school to be able to implement it.
